"and the wine tasting was fun, but communication was a bit slow"
and I found a cool wine tasting through here, but getting clear details from the organizer took a couple of tries. They did get back to me eventually, just not as quickly as I would’ve liked. The event itself was fine overall, but the communication could definitely be smoother

"Pretty accurate for wine event info"
I used it to keep track of a few wine events, and most of the times and locations were spot on. There was one update that came through a little late, which felt avoidable, but overall it worked fine and was helpful

I mostly use localwineevents.com to update my event details and keep my account in order. It was easy to figure out after poking around a bit, though at first I was a little suspicious because the account area looks kind of dated. I had to reset my password once, and I kept expecting some weird issue to pop up, but it actually worked fine.
I’m giving it 4 stars because the account section could definitely be smoother, especially on mobile. It does what I need and I haven’t run into any major problems, but the older layout still makes me double-check things more than I probably should.

"Sooo easy to book"
I booked a local wine event and got my confirmation right away, which was niiice. Everything was clear, the tickets came through without any issues, and the whole thing was just super smooth. I’d definitely use it again.

"Calendar info was hit or miss"
I used localwineevents.com to look up a few wine tastings nearby, and it gave me some decent ideas. But the calendar info wasn’t all that reliable. One event had the wrong time. Another had already been cancelled when I called the venue.
So yeah, useful as a starting point. Not something I’d fully trust without double-checking somewhere else first. Annoying when you’re trying to plan your night around it...

I gave localwineevents.com a try when my friend and I were helping promote a small wine tasting in our area. Setting up the listing was simple, so no complaints there, but we didn’t see much come from it. Traffic seemed low and it didn’t lead to many people showing up or asking about the event. Maybe it’s more useful in a bigger city with a bigger wine crowd, but for us it just didn’t feel worth the time or the promo cost. Not a bad site, just not something I’d rush to use again.

I had to cancel an event ticket and requested a refund. It wasn’t super quick and I did have to send one follow-up email, but they eventually got it sorted without any hassle. Overall, I’d say it was a fair experience — I just would’ve appreciated a faster update along the way.

I used localwineevents to find a wine tasting near me, i’m the kind of person who gets annoyed fast when prices are hidden until the last step. So I really liked that the cost was right there before I booked.
The fees and ticket details were easy to spot before checkout, which made the whole thing feel straightforward. Nothing seemed sneaky or unclear, and for me that made it a lot easier to decide if the event was worth going to.

"Pretty good on mobile, just a little slow"
The mobile site works fine overall, and I was able to do what I needed without much trouble. It does get a bit slow sometimes, which is mildly annoying, but not a dealbreaker or anything. i’ve used worse mobile sites, so there’s that

"Actually useful for local wine stuff"
I kind of stumbled onto this when I was looking for something wine-related nearby, and yeah, it ended up being really handy. I found a couple local tastings I would’ve completely missed otherwise, which was a nice surprise. It’s just good for quickly seeing what’s going on around you without having to dig all over the place.

"Pretty solid mix of wine events"
I’ve been using Local Wine Events for a while, and I think it’s useful? At least, I keep going back to it, so maybe that says something. I like that it’s not just the big wine tastings listed, I’ve found dinners, classes, smaller winery events, and random local stuff too. Sometimes I check my area and there’s way less happening than I expected, which makes me wonder if I’m just searching at the wrong time or missing something. Overall though, it’s easy to use and helpful. I’d probably give it 5 stars if the smaller local events were updated more consistently.

So... I signed up for their newsletter and it’s surprisingly useful. Most of the wine events they send are nearby and actually sound fun, which is nice because I don’t have to go digging around for things to do on the weekend

I tried using localwineevents.com to look for wine stuff happening near me, but the site felt a bit clunky. The search and filters weren’t super clear, and a couple pages just kind of sent me in circles. I did end up finding a few events after poking around, but yeah, it was way more annoying than it needed to be

Some listings were more helpful than others, though. A few had plenty of details, while others felt a little outdated or kind of unfinished?? That part was a bit frustrating when I was trying to actually make plans.
Overall, I’d still say it’s a useful site if you just want a quick idea of what wine events are happening locally. It’s not perfect, but yeah... I’d probably use it again.

"Usually dependable for finding wine events"
I’ve used localwineevents.com a handful of times now, and at this point I kind of assume the listings are going to be accurate because they usually are. The dates and links have worked for me, which is really the main thing I care about. I did run into one event where the details seemed outdated, but that felt more like an exception than the norm. Overall, I’d still trust it when looking for wine events nearby
